Eyewitness Account of Israeli arrest on Peace Flotilla for Gaza

The Brisbane 'Justice for Palestine' group organised a forum and Q & A of two local people who were on the 'Mavi Mamara'. Video of the Q & A session (in part) is here. Technical limitations means that this video contains only part of the Q & A session. This ship was taking aid from Turkey to Gaza in Palestine when it was attacked in international waters by Israeli commandos. Ahmed and Jerry described how people can make a difference — even though they did not expect to have their lives threatened nor to witness others on the ship being killed. They describe the courage of the participants on the aid ship. They describe how shooting started first from an Israeli heliocopter on unarmed passengers. They deny that anyone on the Mavi Mamara provoked the murderous assault they describe. They refute the lies published by the BBC - and portray the humiliation of the passengers by Israeli soldiers - the premeditated murders of targeted individuals. Very little media coverage has been made in the Australian media of their eyewitness account. Brisbane's Courier Mail has published one article about their story.
